Two out of three ain't bad: Transatlantic Fitness' FUNS-C scoops two awards at FIBO 2017

Transatlantic Fitness’ FUNS-C functional training solution won first place in two out of three categories at the FIBO Innovation Awards, winning both the Jury and Private Visitors awards.

The versatile workout station was developed by FunsFitness founder Tobi Conrad in collaboration with the Department of Sports Medicine at the University of the German Army, Munich.

Designed as a mobile multi-user workout solution, the FUNS-C is a universal, multi-sport training station that can accommodate between 10 and 25 people.

It features a chin up bar, a core bar, anchor points for battle ropes and suspension training ropes and storage space for other equipment. It is made from stainless steel and is lockable, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

It measures 3 m (10 ft) tall and is available in three different sizes: 2 m by 2.5 m (6.5 ft by 8.2 ft), 3 m by 2.5 m (10 ft by 8.2 ft), and 6 m by 2.5 m (20 ft by 8.2 ft).

It is easy to set up, claiming to take less than 10 minutes and requires only 8.5 m by 6 m (27.8 ft by 20 ft) of floorspace.

Conrad says: “It was fun, but also challenging to combine functionality with design inside the container. I am very excited about the great feedback.”
